Some posts about MODEST:
[catlist id=63] is a bash-script that allows to run and setup any ia32 X11 binary inside EM64T or AMD64 GNU distros without any knowledge about debootstrap and chroot techniques, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, firefox plugins: JRE, flash….and so on !!

Moreover, this project – that could be considered as one which is truly behind the times -, has been used to solve some technical issues involving BackupPC software. So, it is being used in a real environtment, in professional way, at Departament de Física Aplicada, U.P.C.

You can read the whole post discussing this matter HERE.

netForo! is a classic forum-based-system developed in 2004 using php as a programming language. It’s based on old-fashioned IRC commands so as to manage its users, bans, posts, etcetera. I wrote this piece of software a long time before, in order to show a friend of mine life does exist beyond that so-called Php-Nuke. At the same time, I was trying to kill some time, I must admit! 😉

You can read the netForo! handbook so as to figure out how it works right HERE.

From now on, has also a netForo! enabled system, available HERE. This way, our staff will be able to post their comments, thoughts, and do what is well-known as a brainstorming without tainting the “original” word-press post-mechanisms.
